About us

Generally the Frost project has been started and established around 2023 when the first project that will come on that time is the Exagear@Frost, a simple modification of the Exagear mod based on Alien and Hugo as a base for the modification. So at this time is the kick-start of the Frost emulation project, until the Exagear@Frost are fully discontinued due to the rising of usage for Winlator, in which Winlator are initially released at the 2023 too. So the project of the Exagear@Frost are fully discontinued completely since Winlator can handle the 32 bit apps and games with more faster and stable. And then after the discontinuation of the Exagear@Frost, Winlator@Frost has been in constantly development since September 2023 and then the Winlator@Frost just got it firstly released in November 2023 through the Mega download link since on that time I had not yet expanded to the Github releases, and starting the year of 2024, the Github were created for Winlator@Frost project as to reached more audience to try out the new Winlator@Frost mod project on that time. And our biggest achievement is we have reached more than a million downloads time of the Winlator@Frost from around the world in the July of 2025. But suddenly, we were depressed with the Github decision for blacklisting the Winlator@Frost project and even any name that have the "Frost" until forever due to mass report from emulation haters or called as "Anti Emulators" community, so as the results, we are unable to use Github anymore for the Winlator@Frost project to release the apk as usual. But after that the Winlator@Frost has been successfully rebranded to the Star Emulator which it hopefully can grow back like the Winlator@Frost. But after a few discussions for resuming the Winlator@Frost, so finally Winlator@Frost are resuming back with independently without needing the system of the Github for official releases, everything are inside in this website. But there's a limitation of the Winlator@Frost releases where the Winlator@Frost releases would contain only the Winlator official modifications only and not the bionic since bionic have been developed by the WinHub (rebranding from Star Emulator). So now the Winlator@Frost development are not affecting the WinHub development, and the WinHub and Winlator@Frost are still under the United of Frost project even the WinHub are being developed by other person and me as the developer of the Winlator@Frost are not associated with the WinHub development because it being managed by other persons who are the lead developer of the WinHub

Who is developing the Frost project?

Initially when the firstly Exagear@Frost and Winlator@Frost are firstly introduced, it have been developed by my cousin who are used nicknames as PhryaNik or Haikal until he transferred the project to me in the year of 2024, so I decided to keep this project as longer as possible and I used nickname as Tanakorn as a replacement of the PhryaNik that have been used by my cousin. So basically it's 2 different persons are developing the Frost Emulation project. And now since my cousin left the project and pass the project to me so I decided to working alone in this project. So as a modder, I can say that it's very big challenge to handle the app project, and I decided to take the online courses for managing the apk by doing a coding of C++ even I'm still younger to learn this and even some of my work are woth the help of AI too, but for me AI are just helping me if I deliver any of coding errors to fix it. So overall, to developing the emulation app project are not too easy, you need to have a strong mindset and a lot of patience when you are doing a coding because sometimes when you're doing a coding in the apk, there could be an error, and even it's just a small error and mistake but for the system itself, it's a big mistake, so that's why to coding the apk are really hard and difficult and you need to always be patience and not feeling depressed when you're failed to do something in the coding
